About the role
- You'll work directly with our CEO, our Go-to-Market team, and our Workplace Experience team to make all of it exceptional.
- This is a high-ownership role with real budget, direct executive access, and no bureaucracy between you and the work.
- This role is based in our San Francisco HQ, reports into our Head of People, and is expected to be in-person 2-3 days/week.
Responsibilities
- Own strategy and execution for Column's highest-stakes internal and external moments - customer-facing events, company offsites, board meetings, brand activations, and conference presence.
- Partner with our Workplace Experience Manager to build employee engagement programming that reflects and reinforces Column's culture.
- Work with GTM to develop event strategies that generate pipeline and deepen relationships with the people who matter most to our business.
- For companies building financial technology and transforming the financial services space, the biggest bottleneck to their growth and innovation is often the underlying banks and infrastructure stack they rely on.
- We have spent our careers founding and scaling companies like Plaid, Square, Meta, Blend, and Affirm, and have seen this problem firsthand - builders and developers needing to partner with traditional banks, and creating API and abstraction layers over the patchwork that is the bank, its core, and many other vendors.
- Come build with us!
- If you're someone with operational excellence who has managed large budgets, sweated every detail, and knows that a well-executed event is a foundational relationship-building tool, this is a rare opportunity to build a function from the ground up at a company that values excellent experiences.
