The Senior PCB Layout Engineer contributes to the design and delivery of high-performance printed circuit boards that support scalable and manufacturable optical engine platforms.
Execute complex PCB layouts for high-speed, high-density designs aligned with performance and manufacturability requirements
Develop and manage detailed layout files, including multi-layer PCB designs, ceramic and organic substrates, and advanced packaging structures
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define PCB floor plans, constraints, and design parameters
Conduct design reviews to validate layout quality and alignment with project specifications
Coordinate with manufacturing partners to enable prototype builds, high-volume production, and issue resolution

The annual salary range for this position is $120,000 - $191,600.
Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business.

Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
