About the role

  • REPORTS TO (TITLE): Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) PAY RANGE: $130k - $157k annually (exempt position) Sacramento Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to join our team.
  • In this leadership role, you will play a vital part in shaping the quality of care our patients receive while supporting and guiding a team of skilled nursing professionals.
  • Audit all seclusion or manual hold interventions on assigned shift.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clutter-free working environment.
  • Manage appropriate staffing levels in conjunction with Staffing Coordinator.
  • Document approved overtime on employee time adjustment forms.
  • Collaborate with Chief Nursing Officer to address performance concerns or potential need for staff disciplinary measures.
  • Manage Patient Care Services Monitor clinical issues for high acuity patients or patients with unusual problems.

Compensation

  • REPORTS TO (TITLE): Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) PAY RANGE: $130k - $157k annually (exempt position) Sacramento Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to join our team.
  • The Nursing Manager collects staff performance data from the Nursing Supervisor to ensure proper supervision and to provide accurate and meaningful introductory and annual performance evaluations.

  • Prepare and investigate Incident Reports (IR) in an accurate and timely fashion; follow up with staff education to prevent reoccurring incidents.
  • Support Chief Nursing Officer, Nursing Supervisors, and Registered Nurses to provide a high-quality orientation and ongoing education for clinical staff.
  • Continually educate staff on key issues relating to hospital policies and procedures and healthcare regulations.
