About the role
- The successful candidate will work closely with attending physicians, fellows, nursing staff, and cath lab personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care throughout the continuum of the interventional cardiovascular experience.
Responsibilities
- Support procedural documentation and communication with multidisciplinary teams.
- Manage vascular access sites and post-procedural recovery.
Requirements
- DEA certification (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, team-based environment.
- Prior experience in:
- Experience managing complex cardiovascular patients.
- Familiarity with invasive cardiovascular procedures and post-procedural care.
- The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong clinical judgment, and is excited by the opportunity to help shape the future of interventional cardiovascular medicine.
- Required
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current NCCPA certification or AGACNP-BC certification.
- Acute Care certification if NP
- Eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have
- Assist interventional cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Participate alongside physicians in coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), peripheral vascular interventions, and other advanced catheter-based therapies.
- Assist with vascular access management and procedural workflow.
- Participate in patient monitoring and assessment during procedures.
- Facilitate efficient patient throughput and procedural coordination.
- Conduct focused cardiovascular assessments and histories.
- Review diagnostic studies, laboratory data, and imaging.
- Assist with procedural planning and patient preparation.
