About the role

  • Position: SCCM Engineer Location: Waltham, MA Duration:6+ Months Note: - Client has two different SCCM environments.
  • One environment is setup for imaging new PCs and patching Conference rooms, while the other is setup to patch servers and desktops of internal users.
  • The SCCM contractor would be tasked with helping merge these two systems into one, while maintaining as much uptime as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and deploy Collections
  • Create, maintain, and deploy Reports
  • Create, maintain, and deploy Task Sequences
  • Create, maintain, and deploy Compliance Rules
  • Create, maintain, and deploy Software Applications
  • Create, maintain, and deploy Software Updates
  • Create, maintain, and deploy Operating System Images
  • The ability to create custom reports using SQL Server Reporting Services will be needed to run reports related to WSUS patching, Computer information and inventory auditing, and future automation.

Nice to have

  • PC imaging through SCCM is a plus
  • VDI knowledge is a plus
