About the role

  • Verkada's Marketing Analytics and Data Science team is looking for a strategic analytics leader to play an integral role in leveraging our data and technology to help our marketing team run better, faster, and smarter.
  • This role operates like an internal strategy consultant, using data to diagnose performance, uncover growth opportunities, evaluate ROI, and turn ambiguous business questions into clear recommendations.
  • This role reports to our Senior Manager of Data Science and Analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Build forecasts, targets, business cases, and measurement frameworks.
  • Partner with leadership to define KPIs and influence strategic decisions.
  • Build scalable analytics, automation, and AI-powered tools that help teams move faster.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, strategy, consulting, growth, or a related field.
  • Strong business judgment and a track record of turning analysis into action.
  • Experience with marketing, growth, funnel, revenue, or go-to-market analytics.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Comfort operating independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Comfort using AI tools to improve how analytical work gets done.
  • Must be able and willing to work in-office 5 days a week
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including with senior leaders.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Python or another analytical language.
  • Experience with modern analytics tools such as dbt, BigQuery, Snowflake, and AI coding tools.
  • Experience with experimentation, causal inference, or incrementality measurement.
  • Experience with enterprise B2B go-to-market strategy.
