About the role
- This role is ideal for a senior engineer who enjoys operating at the intersection of security, governance, automation, and platform operations.
- This is not an application development role.
- Success in this role requires both technical depth and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement governance controls across Power Platform environments.
- Develop and maintain remediation playbooks aligned with enterprise security requirements.
- Identify security, compliance, and governance gaps and drive remediation efforts.
- Support onboarding and operationalization of new security controls.
- Build and maintain automation using PowerShell, REST APIs, Power Platform Admin APIs, Microsoft Graph, and related technologies.
- Develop tooling to reduce manual governance and compliance activities.
- Create scalable workflows for policy enforcement, monitoring, remediation, and reporting.
- Support secure-by-default deployment and operational governance practices.
- Partner with security, engineering, compliance, and platform operations teams.
Requirements
- Experience implementing governance, remediation, and compliance workflows.
- Experience working directly with technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to operate independently in ambiguous and evolving environments.
Compensation
- Salary range for this role is $100,000-$125,000 per year, dependent on experience.
