About the role
- The Porter is an important member of the restaurant/café staff and the overall dining experience of the guest.
- The primary responsibilities of the Porter will be focused on supporting both front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure they are able to provide the best dining experience for our guests.
- The Porter will remain in constant contact with the Management team regarding any assigned or pending tasks.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house and front-of-house areas.
- They will work collaboratively to maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for all guests as well as all staff members.
Nice to have
- 1+ years of experience as a Porter, Dishwasher
- 6 months+ in a custodial, cleaning is preferred but not required
- 6 months+ in the Food & Beverage industry is preferred but not required
Skills
- Multi-tasking while maintaining an upbeat and professional demeanor
- Ability to lift and move 30lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
Compensation
- Compensation: $21.00 - $22.00/hr
