About the role

A Day in Your Life at MKS: As the CNC Mechanic 1, you will help our maintenance team in installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment.
These activities will all involve close collaboration with other mechanical maintenance technicians and production workers.
In this role you will report to the Machine Shop Operations Manager.

Must be able to visually inspect machines.
Must be able to lift and carry 50-90 pounds.
Must be able to bend, stretch, push pull, and move as needed to reach, and service machinery.

Identifying the cause of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
Repairing broken machines quickly and efficiently.
Preforming preventive maintenance inspections and services on machines.
Thoroughly cleaning machines and machine parts, removing parts, and reinstalling as necessary.
Recording and reporting damaged, worn, or broken parts.
Oiling and lubricating moving parts on machines to ensure efficient performance
Vocational or community college degree with related coursework or equivalent experience.
2+ years of related experience required.
Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.
Works well independently and with others.

$26.11 - 44.18 per hour.
This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
