Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the residential plumbing department.
  • Create structure, organization, and clear expectations across the department.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor plumbing team members to improve performance and support career growth.
  • Create clear accountability around individual and departmental performance.
  • Partner closely with field supervisors and sales leaders to improve communication and execution across the department.
  • Use performance data to identify problems, develop action plans, and improve departmental results.
  • Help implement and maintain efficient scheduling, staffing, and workforce planning processes.
  • Support the continued growth, profitability, and scalability of the plumbing department.
  • Cool Willy's is looking for a strong, organized, and results-driven Plumbing Manager to lead and develop our growing plumbing department.
  • This is not a position where you need to be the most technically experienced plumber in the building.

Requirements

  • Experience creating processes, improving workflows, and bringing structure to a growing department.
  • Ability to hold employees accountable while maintaining a positive and engaging team culture.
  • Experience managing performance through KPIs, scorecards, goals, and measurable expectations.
  • Ability to work effectively with field leaders, sales teams, technicians, dispatchers, and senior leadership.

Nice to have

  • Plumbing or residential home service industry knowledge strongly preferred.
  • Previous hands-on plumbing experience is a plus but not required for the right leadership candidate.
  • Experience with Service Titan or similar home service management software is a plus.

Compensation

  • $80,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience
