About the role

  • Regularly attend and participate at LCBC prior to and/or upon employment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee a unified Next Gen content strategy that aligns with LCBC's mission, values, and teaching direction.
  • Lead the creative and strategic planning process for Next Gen teaching series, ministry initiatives, and key experiences across kidMinistry and Student Ministry.
  • Collaborate with campus teams and central ministries to create engaging, scalable, and developmentally appropriate content for all Next Gen environments.
  • Lead teams responsible for curriculum strategy, programming elements, messaging, games, storytelling, and digital engagement.
  • Partner with Communications and Creative teams to develop videos, social media content, teaching support materials, and key initiative campaigns.
  • Build systems and processes that improve communication, collaboration, consistency, and content delivery across campuses.
  • Equip and support campus staff by providing resources, coaching, and strategic guidance for implementing Next Gen content effectively.
  • Support LCBC Next Gen ministries in creating environments and experiences that lead kids and students to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
  • Support LCBC in the mission of reaching many people for Jesus Christ.

Requirements

  • Have a personal relationship with Jesus and demonstrate ongoing spiritual growth through everyday habits and practices.
  • Support LCBC's mission to introduce people to Jesus and together fully follow him, along with our ministry philosophy, priorities, and beliefs.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of child and student developmental phases and how they shape communication and discipleship.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience leading creative teams, content development, or teaching strategy preferred.
  • Do Everything You Can To:
  • Champion collaboration, innovation, and alignment across all areas of Next Gen ministry.
  • A formal Action and Development Plan will be completed and reviewed three times throughout the year.

Compensation

  • $40k-$45k
