Responsibilities
- You will own large pieces of the infrastructure - all aspects of it ranging from proposing changes to existing services, building new ones, improving how we deploy, and ensuring the systems we build are stable, durable, and can scale smoothly as we grow.
- Infrastructure & Operations Mindset: You will help shape how we build, deploy, and monitor our services.
- Collaboration: You'll partner closely with other backend engineers, as well as product, design, and operations teams, to ensure we build a platform that is technically strong, operationally sound, and enables high-quality product experiences.
- Visa sponsorship & immigration support
- GraphQL as the mode of building and exposing APIs
- You will help shape how we build, deploy, and monitor our services.
- You'll partner closely with other backend engineers, as well as product, design, and operations teams, to ensure we build a platform that is technically strong, operationally sound, and enables high-quality product experiences.
Skills
- TypeScript/Node, Python as the main components of the backend
- PostgreSQL as our data store, with Redis for caching and distributed coordination
- Distributed worker systems powering asynchronous and high-throughput tasks
- Deployed on AWS using containerized infrastructure
