- Skilled Nursing Facility in Houston, TX is currently seeking a Assistant Business Office Manager (ABOM ).

Responsibilities
- Assist in plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the facility's accounting functions under the supervision of the Administrator.
- Help to establish and maintain a system of financial record keeping to include ledgers, recording payments, writing receipts, posting cash journals, prepare and make bank deposits, etc.
Requirements
- Must have experience with Texas Skilled Nursing Facility MCD billing and Managed MCD billing, Private Pay, and Medicaid Pending (applications) process
- A minimum of two years college required with emphasis on accounting and business.

- M ust have working knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting principles, preferably in a healthcare setting to include Medicare, Medicaid and third party billing.

Compensation
- Review the facility's accounting policies and procedures periodically, at least annually, and make recommendations to the Administrator.
