About the role
- The Supervisor at the Houston Tarps location is responsible for overseeing daily operations with a strong focus on safety compliance, time management, inventory control, and workforce scheduling.
- This role ensures that production and warehouse activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in alignment with company policies and performance standards.
Responsibilities
- Identify safety hazards and implement corrective actions
- Assign tasks and manage labor to maximize efficiency
- Create and manage employee schedules to meet operational demands
- Train, coach, and develop team members
- Lead by example and maintain a positive, professional work environment
Requirements
- Minimum 2-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial operations
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and safe work practices
- Experience with inventory systems and scheduling
- Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a warehouse or industrial environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to [XX] lbs as required

- Conduct regular safety meetings, audits, and inspections
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
