Responsibilities
- Maintain daily logs, safety & inspection reports, and project reports
- Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with customer and co-workers
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Technician for heavy equipment, cranes, or diesel trucks
- Clean Driving Record (No major traffic violations, tickets or accidents for the last 5 years.)
- Overtime, nights and weekends may be required.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full time basis in order to be considered.
- Procure, order, and track parts required for repairs/maintenance
- Must be willing to perform manual labor related tasks to support projects
- Valid Driver's License
- Have own tools that are adequate to perform all job functions
- Locations include the maintenance shop and jobsites
- Must pass pre-employment DOT physical/drug screening
- Diagnose failures for vehicles/equipment and notify Fleet Manager of issues
- Keep record of time spent on repairs including what repairs/maintenance was performed
- Test drive/operate vehicles/equipment to ensure they are in perfect working condition
- Inspect fleet when being checked in/out to ensure all deficiencies are corrected prior to returning to working order
- Must keep a clean and organized work area
Nice to have
- Ability to pass background checks for secure facility access, preferred
Compensation
- $20-$35.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications.
