Responsibilities
- Recruiting & Relationship Building
- Build relationships with prospective students, families, club coaches, and high school programs
- Support recruiting communication, evaluations, campus visits, and recruiting administration
- Maintain scouting files, video resources, and related program information
- Support operational and administrative needs related to team travel, scheduling, and program coordination
- Student Support & Team Culture
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with all NCAA, conference, and university policies and regulations
- Collaborate with Athletics staff and campus partners to support the overall student-athlete experience
- Demonstrated ability to teach and develop volleyball skills and strategies in an instructional setting
- Ability to mentor, motivate, and positively develop college student-athletes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong understanding of volleyball fundamentals, player development, and competitive systems
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn NCAA Division II rules and compliance expectations
Nice to have
- Collegiate volleyball playing and/or coaching experience preferred

Compensation
- Starts at $44,000 DOE

- Seattle Pacific University is seeking an Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach to support all aspects of the women's volleyball program, including recruiting, instruction, player development, practice planning, scouting, operations, and student-athlete mentoring.
- This position serves an important instructional and developmental role within the athletics program.
- The Assistant Coach will help teach technical volleyball skills, reinforce team systems and strategies, and contribute to the overall educational and developmental experience of student-athletes.
- The Assistant Coach will work closely with the Head Coach to cultivate a positive team culture focused on athletic excellence, academic success, leadership development, spiritual formation, and holistic student growth.
