About the role
- As a Staff Developer Relations Engineer, you serve as a technical anchor for our developer platform enablement.
- You are the primary bridge between SailPoint's core product engineering teams and the global developer ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Ecosystem Engineering: Lead the architectural design and implementation of core developer SDKs, CLI tools, and extensibility patterns.
- Developer Community Leadership: Design and lead interactive technical livestreams, deliver presentations at developer events, and create reference architectures.

Requirements
- 8-10+ years of experience in software engineering, API design, or developer-focused engineering.
- Outstanding customer-facing skills with the ability to confidently navigate complex architectural discussions with external stakeholders.
- Experience with React, Typescript, GoLang, Python, PowerShell, and more.
- Knowledge of the Identity Security Landscape, including experience implementing SailPoint solutions.
- Exceptional technical communication skills, with a track record of running developer-facing video content, livestreams, or community events.
- Familiarity with leveraging Generative AI tools.
Compensation
- $133,100 - $224,436.00 Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee's home location.

- Holidays: 8 paid holidays annually

- As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation.
