About the role

  • As a Staff Developer Relations Engineer, you serve as a technical anchor for our developer platform enablement.
  • You are the primary bridge between SailPoint's core product engineering teams and the global developer ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Ecosystem Engineering: Lead the architectural design and implementation of core developer SDKs, CLI tools, and extensibility patterns.
  • Developer Community Leadership: Design and lead interactive technical livestreams, deliver presentations at developer events, and create reference architectures.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of experience in software engineering, API design, or developer-focused engineering.
  • Outstanding customer-facing skills with the ability to confidently navigate complex architectural discussions with external stakeholders.
  • Experience with React, Typescript, GoLang, Python, PowerShell, and more.
  • Knowledge of the Identity Security Landscape, including experience implementing SailPoint solutions.
  • Exceptional technical communication skills, with a track record of running developer-facing video content, livestreams, or community events.
  • Familiarity with leveraging Generative AI tools.

Compensation

  • $133,100 - $224,436.00 Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee's home location.
