About the role

  • Location: AON Lab Pay Range: $18.93 - $31.56 Job Description Summary: Assists Technologists in performing a variety of tasks which require a high level of responsibility and sound judgment.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively with sensitive and confidential material and sometimes emotionally charged matters. - Communication Skills: Good command of the English language.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to build an engaging culture of quality, performance effectiveness and operational excellence through best practices, strong business and political acumen, collaboration and partnerships, as well as a positive employee, physician and community relations.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Performs assigned administrative and clerical duties associated with the daily operations of the lab.
  • May perform routine laboratory procedures related to preparing samples for analysis.

Nice to have

  • Students seeking Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field desirable.
  • Candidate must demonstrate dependability, flexibility, and adaptability in all aspects of laboratory responsibilities and scheduling hours and have a general understanding of insurance billing if applicable.
  • Clinical laboratory setting is preferred, but not required

Skills

  • Good command of the English language.
  • Second language is an asset but not required.
  • Effective communication skills (oral, written, presentation), is an active listener, and effectively provides balanced feedback.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required.
  • Computer
  • Standard Core Workdays/Hours: Tuesday-Saturday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM.
  • Occasional overtime may be required, and weekend shifts based on location hours and operational needs.
