About the role

This full-time, on-site role combines hands-on resident relocation coordination with Section 42 compliance and file management.
The ideal candidate brings strong tax credit experience, exceptional organization, and a passion for customer service during a high-touch, fast-paced rehab assignment.

Serve as the main point of contact for residents, providing support and ensuring minimal disruption throughout the process.
Document and track relocation activities, notices, and resident communications in accordance with program and regulatory requirements.
Maintain resident files, waiting lists, and regulatory documentation in accordance with CTCAC, HUD, and company policies and procedures.
Perform internal file audits and assist with preparation and responses for State and other monitoring agency audits and inspections.
Perform other duties as assigned.

3-5 years of experience in affordable housing / multi-family property management, with direct LIHTC (Section 42) experience required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work compassionately and professionally with residents.

Thorough understanding of California tax credit (CTCAC) and HUD requirements
experience with tax credit rehabs and/or resident relocation strongly preferred.
TCS, HCCP, or similar compliance designation preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel
property management software experience a plus.
High school diploma required

Complete required compliance reporting (monthly/quarterly/annual) related to the property and rehab activity.
