About the role
- Coordinates the scheduling and efforts of the Cath Lab Technologists.
- Communicates continuously with the physician about patient condition.
- Assist physician during invasive and noninvasive procedures.
Responsibilities
- Lead Technician providing technical and patient support and patient care.
- Also participates in the restocking, resupplying and cleaning of the support areas.
- Maintains aseptic technique when opening sterile supplies, setting up procedures and during all invasive procedures
- Performs preventative maintenance as needed.
- Performs patient care responsibilities considering needs specific to the standard of care for the patients age.
Requirements
- Ability to work as a team member, assists physicians and assists the with the interpretations of data collected.
Skills
- Must attend EKG, Hemodynamics, IABP classes within four months of hire.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills to be able to pass orientation.
- Education:
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Current Arizona Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-CV).
- Current BLS
- Preferred Requirements
- Certification/Registrations: ACLS
- Special Skills: Demonstrated critical thinking skills to be able to pass orientation.
