About the role
- Job Title: Project Operations Manager-Asana
- Must Live in L.A. County or San Diego County
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end rollout of Asana across the organization, including discovery, design, configuration, testing, and launch
- Design scalable Asana structures including teams, projects, portfolios, workflows, rules, automations, and reporting
- Partner with executive sponsors and department leaders to align Asana usage with business goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve workflows
- Optimize Asana usage over time based on feedback, metrics, and evolving business needs
- Support integrations with tools such as Slack, Jira, Salesforce, Google Workspace, or others as applicable
- Embrace creativity and pursue new ideas to drive progress and improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in project, program, or work management roles
- 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing and administering Asana at scale
- Proven experience leading enterprise or multi-team Asana rollouts
- Demonstrated ability to train and influence employees at all levels of the organization
- Ability to translate complex processes into simple, scalable workflows
- California- Los Angeles or San Diego MUST BE
- Have the ability to educate, influence, and align cross-functional teams around new ways of working.
Nice to have
- Asana certification(s) or formal Asana consulting experience
- Experience with enterprise SaaS or high-growth organizations
- Familiarity with complementary tools (Jira, Monday.com http://Monday.com, Smartsheet, ClickUp, Salesforce, Slack)
- Experience working with PMOs, Operations, or Business Systems teams
- Prior consulting experience or experience leading transformations across multiple departments
- Asana is fully implemented, adopted, and trusted as the system of record for work
- Employees clearly understand how and why to use Asana
- Leaders have visibility into priorities, capacity, and execution
Skills
- Establish governance, naming conventions, templates, and usage standards to ensure long-term scalability
- Act as the change leader for the Asana rollout, ensuring strong adoption and sustained usage
- Identify change risks and resistance points, and proactively address them through communication, training, and reinforcement
- Define success metrics for adoption, efficiency, and impact

- Create documentation, playbooks, onboarding guides, and best-practice resources
- Serve as the go-to expert for Asana questions, coaching, and optimization

Compensation
- Expected base salary range $150,000 - $175,000. Total starting compensation will be determined based on all lawful criteria, Company policy and best practices.

- This role requires a rare combination of deep Asana expertise, and having the ability to own all of our integration of our internal tools. ( jira, asana, etc.)
- Role Overview
- This individual will serve as the subject matter expert for Asana, responsible not only for system configuration, but also for driving organizational change, establishing best practices, and training employees at all levels-from individual contributors to executive leadership.
- Prioritize the needs and satisfaction of our customers in all decisions and actions appropriate to Tillster's stage of development, resources, and stated goals.
