About the role

- Sompo has a unique opportunity for a VP, Livestock in our Livestock team.
- The Vice President, Livestock is responsible for strategy and execution of AgriSompo's livestock insurance, leading the business unit end to end.
Responsibilities
- Lead all operations of the livestock program, including underwriting and claims, ensuring disciplined execution and high-quality service.
- Prioritize technology investments and drive the technology roadmap to advance the business unit's products, analytics, and operational efficiency.
- Own and cultivate agency and distribution relationships, expanding the program's reach across brokers, agents, and ranchers.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with livestock trading and insurance portfolios, ensuring financial stability and minimizing exposure to losses.

Requirements
- Required: Bachelor's Degree/Equivalent or Equivalent Experience

- Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
