Responsibilities
- A career built on building zero defect homes, cost management, and adherence to schedules.
- Prepare accounting transactions and maintain records, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with US GAAP.
- Support month ‑ end, quarter ‑ end, and year ‑ end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Assist in the design and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to drive efficiency and accuracy in compliance with US GAAP.
- Support end-to-end process optimization and automation initiatives that measurably improve operational efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support system enhancements, workflow automation, and data quality improvements.
- Assist in developing cross-functional relationships with stakeholders, including FP&A, Procurement, Operations, Treasury, Internal Audit, and other business partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Excellent organizational, management, analytical, decision-making and research skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task accordingly in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with MS Excel and Word.
- Experience with JD Edwards, Essbase, Blackline
- This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs.
Nice to have
- Master's Degree preferred
- 3 years in public accounting and/or with a public company preferred
