About the role
- As a Cloud & Infrastructure Solution Architect, you will play a key role in designing innovative technology solutions that help modernize our infrastructure, accelerate cloud adoption, and enable enterprise-wide technology transformation.
- This position is ideal for a technology professional who enjoys solving complex challenges, influencing technical direction, and collaborating across a broad range of stakeholders.
- You'll join a highly collaborative architecture organization responsible for guiding technology decisions across infrastructure, cloud, platform, and application domains.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate and collaborate on the design, building, testing, and deployment of technology solutions with assigned Agile teams.
- Collaborate with domain leadership and Enterprise Architects to understand business drivers, current and future-state capabilities, and strategic objectives.
- Design end-to-end technology solutions that align with architecture principles, technology standards, security requirements, and operational best practices.
- Produce and maintain architecture deliverables including solution architecture documents, conceptual designs, logical designs, physical designs, technical specifications, infrastructure diagrams, and network diagrams.
- Partner with application owners, software engineers, infrastructure teams, and platform engineering teams to develop scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on strategic initiatives and Agile team ceremonies.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies and industry trends that support business and technology objectives.
- Participate in architecture governance, design reviews, and technology planning activities.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Solution Architects across domains to support integrated, enterprise-wide solutions.
- Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Compensation
- The pay range for this position is $116,400.00 - $194,000.00 Annual (USD).
