About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide conceptual designs of new products in cooperation with a design team consisting of engineers, other designers and lab technicians.
- Produce CAD conceptual designs layout and detail drawings of new products.
- Use and apply Graco design and drafting standards and provide guidance to design technicians in same.
- Software programming following engineer's guidance and design, and analysis of software code.
- Aptitude for CAD design and drafting and software programming.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical design practices.
- Three to five years of board layout, circuit design, software programming, debugging or testing experience.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic design calculations.
- Demonstrated ability to do conceptual designs.
- Capable of using and applying Graco design and drafting standards.
Requirements
- Two year technical degree or equivalent.
- Thorough knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Revise and redraw, as required, production drawings of existing standard products.
- Perform engineering calculations as required to provide sound designs.
- Work with Model Shop, Purchasing, technicians, and Manufacturing as required to produce designed products.
