About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide conceptual designs of new products in cooperation with a design team consisting of engineers, other designers and lab technicians.
  • Produce CAD conceptual designs layout and detail drawings of new products.
  • Use and apply Graco design and drafting standards and provide guidance to design technicians in same.
  • Software programming following engineer's guidance and design, and analysis of software code.
  • Aptitude for CAD design and drafting and software programming.
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical design practices.
  • Three to five years of board layout, circuit design, software programming, debugging or testing experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform basic design calculations.
  • Demonstrated ability to do conceptual designs.
  • Capable of using and applying Graco design and drafting standards.

Requirements

  • Two year technical degree or equivalent.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Revise and redraw, as required, production drawings of existing standard products.
  • Perform engineering calculations as required to provide sound designs.
  • Work with Model Shop, Purchasing, technicians, and Manufacturing as required to produce designed products.
