About the role
- - Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- - 8 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting semiconductor processing equipment (e.g., wet etch equipment, wafer handling, Spin Rinser Dryers (SRDs), wet benches, or metering pumps).
Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and upgrade cleanroom equipment, including automated wafer handling, robotics, chemical delivery, ECP, batch, and single-wafer systems for wet etch, cleaning, and metal lift-off.
- Lead advanced root-cause troubleshooting for tool-down situations and support new equipment installations, hookups, and qualifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting semiconductor processing equipment (e.g., wet etch equipment, wafer handling, Spin Rinser Dryers (SRDs), wet benches, or metering pumps).
- Experience diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Experience with semiconductor equipment processes and automation systems (e.g., PLCs, robotics, etc.).
Nice to have
- Master's or PhD degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 year of technical leadership expertise.
- Advanced aptitude in equipment engineering directly related to wet etch equipment and processes.

- You will play a central role in our MicroLED and AR development by supporting experiments, driving the installation, upkeep, and optimization of a broad equipment suite
- including automated wet benches, spray tools, ECP, SRDs, and chemical handling systems.
- Serve as the primary equipment contact for process engineering across wet process and wet etch modules, maximizing tool availability and process stability.
- Work with semiconductor chemicals while mentoring and supporting the broader equipment engineering team.

- US: $144000 - $208000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
