About the role
- In this client serving role, you will work with exciting and innovative growth technology companies throughout Canada to provide financial leadership and become a trusted advisor to enable them to grow and achieve their objectives.
- You must also have a positive attitude and bring strong business, financial, and leadership acumen.

Requirements
- Strong knowledge of GAAP revenue recognition.
Nice to have
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or above
- prior public accounting experience a plus.
- Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent).
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), including fluency in English.
- Experience working with venture backed tech start-ups is an asset.
- Excellent time management and self-management skills.
- Experience using QuickBooks Online and/or Xero and proficient in using Excel.
- General tax knowledge, including HST.
