About the role
- Serves as an expert advisor for major systems, networks, operations and projects by providing innovative approaches and new security technology.
- Responsible for designing, configuring, deploying and maintaining comprehensive enterprise security infrastructure of all data center equipment.
- Responsible for reviewing and reporting to the IT Director daily and monthly server and firewall logs and related issues.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain related solutions, standards and processes.
- Develop, test and implement security applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems or Cybersecurity required.
- Minimum of 3 years of security risk identification, mitigation, and remediation, and policy implementation.
- Experience managing Active Directory.
Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of network services and networks such as TCP/IP.
- In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of networking systems such as LAN, firewalls, routers and printers.
- Proficiency in Windows system administration, virtualization, scripting and automation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Exchange system administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent project management and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience reviewing systems for security vulnerabilities using the latest cybersecurity tools.
- Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Frequently use fine motor skills for operation of computer/keyboard/mouse.
