About the role

Responsibilities
- As a Data and Analytics Leader, you will manage a team of Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and Tableau Developers.
- Collaborate with team members across Sales, Finance, HR, IT, and global regions to gather, document, and prioritize compensation reporting and analytics requirements.
- Synthesize complex analytics into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations that directly inform and drive leadership decisions on compensation strategy and program improvements.
- Drive user adoption, cross-functional alignment, and process automation to reduce manual effort, improve reporting efficiency, and ensure high data quality and accuracy.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau or similar BI/dashboard tools, including knowledge of data automation, ETL processes, and data quality best practices.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in compensation, sales operations, or HR analytics environments.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and SQL.
- Tableau or relevant BI tool certifications.

- For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota
- 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%
Compensation
- Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan.
