- Poshmark is looking for a Senior Web Engineer II to join our Buyer Pod.
Responsibilities
- Buying and selling fashion feels simple, joyful, and personal, while every item tells its own story.
- Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications with a focus on Core Web Vitals and efficient state management.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design to ensure every pixel serves the user experience.
- You should bring a strong "sense of taste" to everything you build.
- Lead the technical execution of a new buyer-facing feature, ensuring it meets our standards for performance and design polish.
- Propose and implement structural improvements to our web stack that measurably improve developer velocity and site speed.
- A sharp eye for UI/UX and a passion for creating "great" web design rather than just "functional" code.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience, with a focus on high-scale web applications.
Nice to have
- Proven experience with Vue 2 and Vue 3.
- Experience navigating the friction of migrating between the two is highly preferred.
Skills
- Deep understanding of JavaScript fundamentals (Event Loop, DOM API, browser rendering) beyond framework-specific abstractions.
