About the role
- The focus should be on the position and not the current incumbent.
- SUMMARY: Operate multiple pouch machines safely and efficiently while performing quality control audits of SFG pouches.
- Essential duties and responsibilities: Starts up, operates, and shuts down pouch forming, cooling, sealing, straw strip placement, coding, and conveying systems of the pouch machine.
Responsibilities
- Optimizes equipment uptime; monitors mechanical operation of equipment and unjams machines.
- Supervises quality issues, performs and records checks on pouch visual points of quality.
- Performs and records checks on seal alignment.
- Document pouches material losses, downtime, and production totals; palletize finished boxes of pouches.
- Maintains good housekeeping.
- CIL, CLM, 5S, Defect handling, Shift hand-offs, Oscar boards, etc.) Maintains room as a tour ready status.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- This position also has accountability for QRMP standards as outlined in the Winchester Kraft Heinz QRMP accountability document.

Requirements
- In addition to the capabilities above a good candidate will possess strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, a basic understanding of mechanic parts and how they work.
- Requires frequent walking and extended periods of standing Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.

- Ability to climb Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required (steel-toed shoes, hair and beard nets, bump caps, gloves, eye protection, aprons etc.)
- Complete all required audits.
