About the role
- VIC the PICC ("VTP") is a specialized healthcare provider focused on vascular access consulting services to acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and home healthcare.
- Job Description As a Vascular Access Nurse Consultant, you will work collaboratively with our customer's clinical team to resolve venous access issues to facilitate the treatment objectives of the treating physician.
- You may work inside or outside the hospital setting depending on each individual referral, providing you with a unique career opportunity to observe different treatment protocols and patient challenges.
Responsibilities
- We provide vascular access device insertion services, post access support services including declotting, line removal, port access and venous access troubleshooting.

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of acute care RN experience
- Experience placing PICCs, midlines, or other vascular access devices using ultrasound
- Experience in vascular access device (VAD) management, including care, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Experience placing ultrasound-guided IVs (USGIVs)
- Ability to work independently and fulfill scheduling requirements as indicated by job classification
Compensation
- is based on candidate experience and relevant certifications.
- Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance
- Utilize ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation
- Assist with management of PICCs and Vascular Access devices.
- Provide a wide range of vascular access support services including but not limited to port access, removal of lines, declotting, etc.
- Educate facility nursing staff regarding PICCs, midlines and many other CVAD's
