Responsibilities

  • The Maintenance Helper supports the maintenance team by performing routine tasks that ensure the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Perform routine cleaning and upkeep tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing filters, and unclogging drains.
  • Support senior technicians during inspections, installations, and emergency repairs.
  • Maintain tools, supplies, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
  • Document tasks completed and report issues to supervisors.

Nice to have

  • Assist with basic repairs in plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical systems.
  • Move, assemble, and install furniture, fixtures, and equipment as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE during all tasks.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 0-2 years of experience in general maintenance or facilities support
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and maintenance procedures
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied conditions
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
