About the role
- Direct Physician Mentorship Work closely with an experienced physiatrist who provides oversight, education, and case-based teaching.
- Formal Education & Didactics In addition to one-on-one mentorship, our advanced practice providers participate in structured educational sessions led by our physician team.
- These include periodic case conferences, clinical topic reviews (e.g., spasticity management, complex pain strategies, frailty syndromes, rehabilitation optimization), grand rounds, and interdisciplinary learning discussions.
Responsibilities
- Accelerate functional recovery Reduce avoidable hospitalizations Optimize therapy alignment Improve pain control Support safe, timely discharge You will participate in structured daily rounding within designated SNFs, following standardized clinical pathways and quality protocols developed by our physiatry team, while working hand-in-hand with our interdisciplinary team and support staff.
