About the role
- Job Description The Nursing Assistant is responsible for performing direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
- The Nursing Assistant functions under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- The primary responsibility of the Nursing Assistant is to provide basic patient cares such as bathing and hygiene elimination and toileting nutrition feeding and hydration and ambulation and positioning.
