About the role
- Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer (AWS) Location: Columbus, OH or Wilmington, DE (day1 onsite) Long Term Contract - W2 Note: Need candidates from Banking domain with strong AWS experience.
- The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java-based backend development, modern frontend technologies, microservices architecture, and cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-tested code.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or similar).
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support.
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation.
- AWS Certification is a plus.
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Java development.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
- Experience with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases.
