Responsibilities
- Compile the data and support needed for the Colorado Tax return and send to the Business Office annually
- Design and implement audit processes and procedures for General Endowment mineral assets
Requirements
- An Individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in this group: Up to 10lbs
- Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of oil and gas accounting experience required.
- Must have strong oil and gas background and attention to detail
- Proficient Excel skills required, including pivot tables, lookups, and reconciling data across multiple spreadsheets and reports.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand royalty check detail and underlying calculation components required.
- Familiarity with third-party industry resources preferred but not required, including MineralWare, EnergyLink, and Texas Railroad Commission data.
Compensation
- Prepare mineral reports accurately and timely and assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports
- Assist with generating annual rental invoices on a monthly basis.
