  • SUMMARY The Payroll & Compliance Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across Titanium Healthcare.
  • The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, comfortable managing large amounts of data, and confident navigating sensitive payroll and compliance matters in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process and support semi-monthly payroll activities for approximately 300 employees across multiple programs and departments
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and audit trails
  • Partner with leaders to resolve payroll discrepancies before payroll processing deadlines
  • Support internal payroll audits and compliance reviews
  • Help maintain defensible payroll documentation and reporting practices during audits, investigations, or legal reviews
  • Maintain payroll files, records, and system documentation
  • Help develop and maintain payroll procedures, job aids, and manager guidance materials
  • Contribute to other People Operations initiatives as needed to support organizational goals
  • For patients that means exceptional support and better care.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate clearly in-person, by phone, and electronically
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20-25 pounds (e.g., laptop bag, forms, mobile equipment)
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position
  • Must be able to move around an office setting
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines and competing priorities
  • Ability to type for extended periods
  • Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to document, report, analyze data, identify trends, and present findings in a clear and actionable manner
  • Excellent judgment, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters

Nice to have

  • High school diploma/GED required, associate degree preferred
