- SUMMARY The Payroll & Compliance Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across Titanium Healthcare.
- The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, comfortable managing large amounts of data, and confident navigating sensitive payroll and compliance matters in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Process and support semi-monthly payroll activities for approximately 300 employees across multiple programs and departments
- Maintain accurate payroll records and audit trails
- Partner with leaders to resolve payroll discrepancies before payroll processing deadlines
- Support internal payroll audits and compliance reviews
- Help maintain defensible payroll documentation and reporting practices during audits, investigations, or legal reviews
- Maintain payroll files, records, and system documentation
- Help develop and maintain payroll procedures, job aids, and manager guidance materials
- Contribute to other People Operations initiatives as needed to support organizational goals
- For patients that means exceptional support and better care.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly in-person, by phone, and electronically
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20-25 pounds (e.g., laptop bag, forms, mobile equipment)
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move around an office setting
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines and competing priorities
- Ability to type for extended periods
- Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to document, report, analyze data, identify trends, and present findings in a clear and actionable manner
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters
Nice to have
- High school diploma/GED required, associate degree preferred
