About the role

  • Job Description This position will be for an entry level Engineer within the Datacenter Engineering Group.
  • In addition to having a solid core infrastructure foundation this position will also require the engineer to be a scrappy and creative problem solver willing to dive in wherever is needed.
  • This role requires a blend of strong foundational infrastructure knowledge, modern application technologies, DevSecOps mindset, and Site Reliability Engineering principles.

Responsibilities

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of application architecture, design alternatives, and development standards.
  • Understands resilient system design, high availability, and disaster recovery methodologies to ensure system reliability and business continuity.

Requirements

  • This engineer will have exposure to or hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Ansible, Terraform, Python, and Gitlab so they can develop repeatable patterns and solutions.
  • Proven abilities to learn new technology and processes.
  • Provides consistent documentation for design decisions, estimating assumptions, code modules, and performance metrics as required by organization standards.
  • Proficiency in Git/Gitlab source code control, branching, bug, and CI/CD pipelines.

Compensation

  • $80,000.00 - $131,000.00
  • Participate in on-call rotation, perform incident triage, including determining scope, urgency, and potential impact.
  • Makes recommendations and build automation that enable expeditious remediation.
  • Proven abilities to learn new technology and processes.
  • Participate in technology evaluations and re-engineering activities to support continuous improvement activities.
  • Provides consistent documentation for design decisions, estimating assumptions, code modules, and performance metrics as required by organization standards.
