About the role

Job Description This position will be for an entry level Engineer within the Datacenter Engineering Group.
In addition to having a solid core infrastructure foundation this position will also require the engineer to be a scrappy and creative problem solver willing to dive in wherever is needed.
This role requires a blend of strong foundational infrastructure knowledge, modern application technologies, DevSecOps mindset, and Site Reliability Engineering principles.

Responsibilities

Basic knowledge and understanding of application architecture, design alternatives, and development standards.
Understands resilient system design, high availability, and disaster recovery methodologies to ensure system reliability and business continuity.

Requirements

This engineer will have exposure to or hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Ansible, Terraform, Python, and Gitlab so they can develop repeatable patterns and solutions.
Proven abilities to learn new technology and processes.
Provides consistent documentation for design decisions, estimating assumptions, code modules, and performance metrics as required by organization standards.
Proficiency in Git/Gitlab source code control, branching, bug, and CI/CD pipelines.

Compensation

$80,000.00 - $131,000.00
Participate in on-call rotation, perform incident triage, including determining scope, urgency, and potential impact.
Makes recommendations and build automation that enable expeditious remediation.
Proven abilities to learn new technology and processes.
Participate in technology evaluations and re-engineering activities to support continuous improvement activities.
Provides consistent documentation for design decisions, estimating assumptions, code modules, and performance metrics as required by organization standards.
