About the role

  • The Hydrovac Swamper assists the Hydrovac Operator with excavation activities, equipment setup, maintenance, traffic control, and site safety.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Completing required field documentation, FLHAs, inspections, and safety reports.
  • Performing general labor duties as required.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, pulling, and carrying materials.
  • Reliable transportation to designated reporting locations.
  • CSTS 2020
  • WHMIS 2015

Nice to have

  • Previous Hydrovac, construction, utility, pipeline, or civil construction experience considered an asset.
  • Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License (required).
  • Clean driver's abstract (required).
  • Required Certifications (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ground Disturbance Level II
