About the role
- Responsible for coordinating the nursing care services provided to residents as well as facilitating the interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Supervises personnel with defined expectations and implements the disciplinary action process when appropriate.
- Performs general nursing duties in cases of emergency or staffing shortage.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Develop daily shift assignments based on care needs and staff qualifications.
- Perform nursing assessments in conjunction with changes in clinical conditions.
Requirements
- Knowledge of applicable state & Federal regulations.
- CEU's as required by the State.
- Requests and assures supplies and equipment are available to perform care and treatment as required by the resident.
- One (1) to three (3) years supervisory experience.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current State RN License.
Skills
- Participates in education, training, and orientation programs of the Unit to contribute to increased knowledge, skills and licensure.
Compensation
- Tuition Reimbursement up to $5,250 per year for ANY field of study
