About the role

  • You will define where HARMAN plays and how it wins by aligning product roadmap, market strategy, and commercial execution with evolving customer needs and industry trends.
  • Working closely with the Software Products leadership team, you will shape portfolio direction, and partnership strategies, and ensure strong alignment across product, engineering, sales, and finance.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Product Management Leads and ensure the portfolio offers competitively differentiating functionality and value propositions
  • Optimize R&D (Engineering Delivery) Investment by prioritizing critical investment areas while providing strategic recommendations for divestment in under-performing segments, ensuring the portfolio is aligned for sustained growth and profitability
  • Define and drive the overall business strategy for the Software Products portfolio, aligning product, engineering & sales around clear growth priorities and investment choices
  • Lead the long-term business planning of the overall portfolio and at product level such as defining revenue goals, EBIT targets, cost targets etc
  • Define and drive partnership strategy and operating model, including strategic partners, ecosystem plays, reseller channels, and hyperscaler relationships to expand market reach and accelerate revenue growth
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of two employees to deliver executive-level insights and recommendations to leadership, translating data, market signals, and portfolio performance into clear strategic actions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels, teams and geographies.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of automotive connected vehicle solutions, technology and trends along with a minimum of five years of industry-related experience with automotive OEMs, T1 or Major Tech players
  • Bachelor's degree in a Engineering or related field & Post graduate degree in Business
  • Success in this role is measured by the portfolio's ability to scale revenue, improve profitability, and strengthen its position in the software-defined vehicle ecosystem.

Compensation

  • $ 125,250 - $ 183,700
