Responsibilities

  • Work with us to deliver solutions that make our diverse cities and communities stronger, healthier and more resilient.
  • Lead activities relating to designing, building, testing, implementing, and maintaining solutions, products, and processes, with a strong emphasis on integration solutions and platform administration using Boomi.
  • Coordinate the tasks of less experienced engineers and collaborate across teams as needed, particularly in the administration and optimization of Boomi integrations and environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (ex: Computer Science or related discipline) and 5.
  • Demonstrates strong software development capabilities coupled with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of Operating Systems - Windows, Solaris or Linux
  • or strong knowledge of cloud platforms: Azure, Amazon or Google.
  • Strong understanding of advanced programming concepts, data structure and algorithms.
  • APIs: Deep and solid knowledge of the main APIs used.

Nice to have

  • Extensive experience with development and administration of middleware technologies, with Boomi as the primary platform utilized.
  • Additional familiarity with Oracle Fusion, Informatica, and Apigee is considered valuable.
  • Experience with Agile software development and test-driven development.
  • Experience in automated testing including unit testing, UI testing and functional testing.
  • Shows initiative beyond pure implementation.
  • Experience working with SCRUM, Kanban or other Agile development environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, negotiation and collaboration skills.
  • Stay on top of latest technologies and trends.

Skills

  • Mastered 2-3 languages/frameworks.
  • Understand functional programming and know when and how to apply functional concepts in any programming language.
  • Possess a deep understanding of how the platform functions including code execution.
  • Comfortable with their package manager tools.
  • Subject Matter Expertise in a particular critical area.
  • Capable of turning requirements into solutions, providing estimates on tasks, and assisting in planning/decomposing larger sections of work.

Compensation

  • Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $116,000.00/Yr. - $159,500.00/Yr.
