About the role
- Miller International, Inc., the visionary force behind Cinch® and Cruel®, is in search of a seasoned, organized, and detail-oriented team member to join us as our new Senior Accountant at our Denver, Colorado office.
- As the Senior Accountant, you'll operate under the guidance of the Controller, providing essential financial analysis and overseeing critical accounting functions.
- Your responsibilities will involve reviewing the daily activities of our accounting team, such as journal entries, account reconciliations, general ledgers, financial reports, etc.
Responsibilities
- Performs financial analysis upon request to help identify and solve problems and evaluate opportunities.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have thorough working knowledge of sophisticated Accounting software programs such as QuickBooks, payroll systems and Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
Compensation
- $85,000-$95,000 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Assist the Controller with the annual financial audit and the annual 401(k) audit.
- Participate in the preparation of quarterly and annual sales/use tax returns.
