Responsibilities
- The Talent Acquisition Support Specialist supports the full recruitment lifecycle by sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates to meet organizational hiring needs.
- This role manages job postings, schedules interviews, extends offers, assists with onboarding, and maintains applicant tracking systems.
- The Specialist partners with hiring managers, external agencies, and community organizations to build talent pipelines, enhance employer branding, and ensure a positive candidate experience while maintaining compliance and recruitment metrics.
Requirements
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiting, CalJobs, Facebook Jobs, and other external recruiting platforms.
- Travel and personal transportation are required to perform job-related duties at job fairs, events, meetings, and training and development sessions.
- The ability to effectively communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension, as necessary for effective job performance and workplace communication.
Nice to have
- One to two years (within the last 3 years) experience from recruiter side with social media recruiting and sourcing is preferred.
- Social Media certification preferred.
- Professional HR and recruiting related certifications and credentials are preferred.
- Experience with ADP TotalSource and/or ADP Workforce Now is preferred.
- Bilingual communication skills are considered a plus, particularly when serving diverse communities.
Compensation
- $52k-$62k

- Position Impact: The Talent Acquisition Support Specialist supports the full recruitment lifecycle by sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates to meet organizational hiring needs.
- Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in a related field of study, or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- One year experience working with outside recruiting/staffing agencies.
- One to two years related experience working with government agencies, educational providers and other community-based organizations who place clients in jobs and/or offer job training.
- Proficient with use of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), recruiting software programs, and social media recruiting platforms.
- Proficient with recruiting procedure and related legal and regulatory compliance, including interviews.
- Availability for overtime, after-hours work, weekend work, emergency work, and on-call duties as needed.
- Home office setup with personal phone and internet service to support remote work.
