About the role

Job Overview Be Strong International is seeking an experienced Security Monitor to provide security services for our after-school program at Lake Stevens Middle School in 18484 NW 48th Place, Miami Gardens, Florida.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:20 p.m. - 5:20 p.m. Approximately 15 hours per week, aligned with after-school program hours at the assigned school site.

Responsibilities

Conduct perimeter checks and observes program areas to support a safe environment.
Collaborate with staff as needed to support safe transitions during dismissal and special events.

Requirements

Ability to enforce safety and security procedures consistently and professionally.
This part-time position requires strong observation skills, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively to safety concerns while supporting a positive atmosphere for youth development.
This position is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, speak, and hear.
Employees will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform other job-related duties requested by their supervisor in compliance with Federal and State Laws.
Document safety-related incidents or unusual events as required.
Strong observation and conflict resolution skills.
Professional demeanor when interacting with students, families, and staff.
Must maintain current CPR/First Aid certification.
Must pass Level II background screening and sex offender registry check.
Physical Demands: This position is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, speak, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Reasonable accommodation may be provided to enable otherwise qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
