About the role
- Our headquarters are located in Downtown Sacramento, just blocks from California's State Capitol.
- Budgeted Annual Salary Pay Range: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
Responsibilities
- Legal & Contracts Associate, the Contract Specialist is responsible for providing the Enterprise & Procurement Services ("EPS") department with a wide range of support, including but not limited to, contract drafting and negotiation, contract administrative lifecycle management, policy and contract compliance, document collection, risk management, information governance, customer service, and other related tasks.
- Support the contract portfolio lifecycle by drafting contract modifications, extensions, amendments, notices, and preliminary agreement documents, and ensuring supplier provisions comply with the FoundationCCC Contracts Policy, the EPS Procurement & Contracting Policy, and Legal Department guidance.
- Provide general administrative and contract support, including proofreading and formatting documents
- Collaborate with Operations and Business Systems teams to establish data entry standards, incorporate data retention requirements, maintain high data quality, optimize Salesforce reporting capabilities, and identify opportunities for improvement

Nice to have
- Relevant BA/BS, equivalent work experience, or a combination of both, advanced degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of four (3) + years of progressive related work experience preferred.
Compensation
- Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
- $65,000.00 - $70,000.00

- Minimum of two (2) + years of experience in an education or non-profit environment preferred.
