About the role

  • How do we do it? - By providing transportation solutions, including service, purchase, rental, and lease of trucks and trailers.
  • The position encompasses 3 key areas with duties pertaining to each.
  • Repair or replace faulty parts, such as engine components, fuel systems, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections to identify issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance jobs like oil changes, filter replacements, brake adjustments and tire rotations that prevent major breakdowns and ensure vehicles operate efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed records of all inspections, maintenance and repairs completed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring proper use of tooling and equipment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a technician or related work.
  • Ability to work on a team, communicate clearly and efficiently, while maintaining professionalism in a shop environment.
  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to stand, lift, carry, push, pull, balance, stoop, reach, handle, talk, hear, see, grasp, move head and neck and movement across mid-line.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds
