About the role

  • Operate at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Solutions Delivery, and our external data ecosystem, ensuring the data powering our platform and roadmap is fit for purpose, high quality, and commercially sound.

Responsibilities

  • Own the map of the third party travel data landscape including flight, hotel, emissions enrichment, benchmarking, market intelligence and maintain our source strategy: the unique attributes, strengths, and limitations of each provider.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our data vendors: own escalations, triage data issues, and run the ad-hoc analysis needed to isolate root cause quickly and credibly.
  • Build and navigate relationships across the corporate travel ecosystem: TMCs, booking tools, card and expense providers, and data enrichment partners.
  • Represent Clarasight credibly in front of any partner stakeholder, from data engineers to executives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in data product management, data partnerships, data strategy, or vendor management roles.
  • Familiarity with data privacy and compliance considerations in travel data (e.g. GDPR, PCI).
  • Experience working alongside AI systems and applying human judgment to automated outputs.
  • Have deep experience in the travel industry (e.g. TMCs, GDSs, OBTs, corporate travel data or travel technology providers) you know the stakeholders and the players, and you understand how travel data really works.

Company info

  • Join us in building the leading AI-Powered Mission Control for Corporate Travel. Some of the world's most recognizable companies, representing over $4T in market value, rely on Clarasight's software to reduce risks, save costs, protect revenues, and manage emissions aligned with business objectives and sustainability goals.
  • You know the corporate travel ecosystem from the inside. You've worked among TMCs, GDSs, booking tools, or travel data providers. You're equally at home reading API documentation as you are navigating a large partner organization to find the one stakeholder who can unlock what you need. You're hands on with data: when a vendor tells you a feed is fine, you'd rather open the file and verify it yourself. You bring curiosity, tenacity, and a bias for action, and you're excited by the opportunity to build a new function from the ground up at a fast moving company applying AI to one of travel's hardest data problems.
