About the role

Own the work end-to-end. Define the product, the ICP, the GTM motion, and the success metrics. Take new initiatives from the first sketch all the way through to a live customer, with your hands on the work the whole way.
Build the team when the work calls for it. Start as the IC PM yourself. Bring on the next PMs when the work demands them, not before. Run honest performance conversations, write development plans that actually move people, and hire PMs who raise the bar.
Make the horizontals compound. Keep our shared platform services shipping on a predictable cadence, with clear commitments to the pods that build on top of them.
Set the operating rhythm. Own how Platform plans, reviews, and ships. Make the writing - PRDs, strategy docs, retros - strong enough to let the team scale beyond your direct attention.
Own the work end-to-end.
As the work scales, you'll build out and lead a Platform PM team alongside you.

Baton is Ryder's in-house product development group focused on harnessing emerging technologies to redefine transportation and logistics.

Range: The annual base salary range for this position is $220,000 - $270,000*.
In addition to base salary, Baton's full-time employees are eligible for an annual performance bonus.
Compensation will vary based on factors including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience.
With Ryder's existing customer base of 50,000+ companies and an internal headcount of 43,000, the scale and impact of our products will be large and far-reaching, from day one.
